Given the unconventional medium of cardboard, I made a seat that prioritizes comfort while still providing structure. The hand woven seat top provides 2.5" of give, with an efficient underlying structure that keeps everything in place.

What started as a salvaged find in a furniture resale shop turned into this gorgeous piece for my parent's living room. With the help of my Mom, we stripped, sanded, oiled, and stained this piece to bring it back to life.
